HOW TO GET LONGER AND THICKER EYELASHES

       

            Long and thicker eyelashes can enhance the beauty of your eyes and make you look more

attractive. They are also responsible for protecting your eyes from dust particles.

Most women try hard to get long, thick and full eyelashes. Nothing adds quite as much glamour

to your eyes as thick, lush, beautiful eyelashes. Long and lush eyelashes are so popular

nowadays.

Do eyelashes grow back?

The answer is yes, no, sometimes and maybe. Like all hair, eyelashes are constantly

growing, breaking, shedding and re-growing. It’s an endless cycle. Under normal

circumstances, eyelashes are always growing back.


                TIPS FOR LONGER AND THICKER EYELASHES

CASTOR OIL:

  • Castor oil is the best home remedy for thicker and longer eyelashes.
  • Castor oil is rich in vitamins and minerals and is an ingredient of numerous traditional remedies.
  • Castor oil also thickens eyelashes and helps to grow long.
  • Rub a little castor oil over the base of eyelashes before bed.(OR)
  • You can use cotton pads to apply it on your eyelashes.
  • This should prevent thinning and promote rapid growth, leading to thicker and fuller lashes.
  • Wash your face in the morning as the oil can attract dust and dander throughout the day.

VASELINE:

  • It’s hard to say whether Vaseline can make eyelashes grow longer or not,Because the results

     are so up in the air.
  • Regardless of whether your lashes grow longer or not, what the use of Vaseline can do.
  • However, Vaseline is the excellent conditioning and moisturization for lashes that are dry and 

brittle.

  • Applying Vaseline to your eyelashes helps to strengthen them and when the old lashes fall out, 

the presence of Vaseline helps the newer ones grow in thicker and in some cases, longer.

  • Make sure that when you are applying Vaseline to your eyelashes to not get the Vaseline in your eye. 

ESSENTIAL OILS:

  • Essential oils like Olive oil, Almond oil, Coconut oil also increases the growth of your eyelashes.
  • As the above, apply any one of these oils (best suited for you) to your eyelashes before bed.
  • This should prevent thinning and promote rapid growth, leading to thicker and fuller lashes.
  • Wash your face in the morning as the oil can attract dust and dander throughout the day.

BE CLEAN:

  • Never leave eye makeup on overnight, especially mascara. 
  • The chemicals in cosmetics can cause damage to healthy lashes, so the longer you wear the 

chemical, the more damage it can do.

  • So, at the end of the day, do remove your eye makeup.

EYELID MASSAGE:

  • Massaging your eyelids gently can increase blood flow and may stimulate growth of lashes.
  • After washing your hands well, use the pads of your fingers to massage your lids and lash line.

PROPER DIET:

  • Eyelashes are made of keratin, a type of protein.
  • It can benefit from a diet that includes high-protein foods like meat, fish, chicken etc.
  • Vitamin A, essential to lash growth, is found in eggs, fish oil, and red, yellow and orange fruits. 
  • Vitamin C also helps in eyelashes growth which is rich in citrus fruits, potatoes and tomatoes etc.
  • Calcium, also essential for lashes, is found in milk, as well as in dark green leafy vegetables.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER:

  • Drink plenty of water and maintain a healthy diet to help promote and boost healthy eyelash 

growth.

  • If your body is starving for vitamins and minerals, your eyelashes will end up growing 

slower and thinner than they should.
